The socio – economic development of farmer's family depends upon agricultural development. Irrigation has profound impact on the development of agriculture than land size. The Kolhapur is one of the socio – economically developed districts of Maharashtra. An attempt has been made in this paper to assess the impact of irrigation on the agricultural development in Banage resettlement. This micro level study examines the temporal change in the different aspects of agriculture. The thirteen indicators have been chosen to measure the agricultural development in village.
