The State of Maharashtra has always been at the forefront of education, technology, agricultural and industrial development at the national level. The majority of students enrolled in engineering and technology courses in the State come from non-English speaking backgrounds and they need to improve their communicative competence. The intended research will examine how engineers use the language, the nature of communication, such as verbal and visual, and the tools they use to communicate.
