The research has analyzed the appraisal of urbanization on vegetation with the help of spectral and spatial information. Some specified sociocultural aspects like road types, road carriage, road width, footpath availability etc has been chosen to determine the magnitude of impacts on vegetation coverage. The study indicates the vegetation coverage and vegetation health is relatively better where sociocultural aspects do not hamper their existence. Negative correlation is represented between road density and vegetation ratio. The study shows there is a possibility of destruction of vegetation if road width is expanded by 6 meter. | | Keywords : | | |
