The study has developed in last few decades, observing the effects of climatic changes and increased rate of global warming. The present paper explores the literary theory of Ecocriticism which emphasizes on fictional (and artistic) manifestation of human experiences inherent in sorrows of scarcity, hopes for harmonious existence, fears of loss and disaster.
