There are many Geographical, Social and Economical factors are affecting on the location of oil industry in Solapur city. The area surrounding the Solapur city is rural which produce raw material for oil industry. i.e. Groundnut, sunflower, safflower. The availability of cheap labour, Railway Junction in Solapur city and demand of oil these are responsible for development of oil industry.
