In the present paper, an attempt has been made to analyze the problems and prospects of agriculture, particularly related to agricultural productivity in Solapur district. Agricultural productivity is the interplay of a multitude of factors such as environmental, Socio-economic and technological factors. The agricultural productivity is closely related to per acre yield.
