At the cognitive level, cognitive neuroscience addresses the questions of how psychological/cognitive functions are produced by the neural circuit. A neuron is a nerve cell that is the basic building block of the nervous system. Neurons are similar to other cells in the human body is a number of ways, but there is one key difference between neurons and other cells. Neurons are specialized to transmit information throughout the body. Competency means the right way of doing things. In teaching the competency means the right way of convening the units of knowledge application and skills to the students and the knowledge of contents, methods and communication. Teacher education is the research based understanding of teacher competencies like contextual, conceptual, content, transactional and evaluative management competencies. Mirror neuron system is involved in empathy. Firing of mirror neurons will be more when we observe an action which is familiar to us. Memory can be enhanced due to the stimulation of mirror neurons. The impact of mirror neurons on class room activities and other educational activities is more to enhancing the teaching competency. | Keywords : | | - behavioral manifestations,
