However, whether morality differs from games to others is a matter of question that has to be found out. Morlaity is defined as an ethics based behaviour within the framework of rules and regulations of the game. Morality is a complex of concepts and philosophical belief by which an individual determines whether his or her actions are right or wrong. A "moral" may refer to a particular principle, usually as nformal and general summary with respect to a moral principle, as it is applied in a given human situation. In detail morality means a confident resolute, willing, often self- sacrificing and courageous attitude of an individual to the function or tasks demanded or expected of him/her by a group of which he is a part that is based upon such factors as pride in the achievements and aim of the group, faith in his leadership and ultimate success, a sense of fruitful personal participation in its work, and a devotion and loyalty to the other members of the groups. The purpose of the study was to compare the players belonging to individual and team sports in relation to Morality. The subjects were sixty male players of Interuniversity level, thirty from each category. Questionnaire of Dawn Slephae and David Layed Shield was employed to assess the morality among players. To compare the morality in different categories of sports 't' test was employed. Findings revealed that there was no significant difference among the individual sports and team sports in relation to Morality. | Keywords : | | |
