A sample of 120 adults were selected by random sampling method comprising of 60 healthy adults and 60 PUD patients of which, 30 adults were working in a government organisation and 30 in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) enterprises belonging to the age group of 20-35 years and 35-50 years in equal numbers. Type-A behavior questionnaire (Friedman & Rosenman, 1959) and Stress questionnaire (Dr.Latha, 1988) were administered to study the type of behavior and stress levels among the subjects. The data collected was subjected to statistical analysis using ANOVA and 't' test and the results were obtained. The results revealed that young PUD patients working in government organisations and BPO's who possess Type A behavior undergo high levels of stress. Hence it can be concluded that there is an underlying relationship between Type A behavior and stress on the incidence of PUD among adults | Keywords : | | - सम्पति,Minimize Machining Time,
