The scale has been constructed by using Likert's method of summation to obtain a five point judgement on each item. After critical study of the related literature of self-confidence, four dimensions viz. self-satisfaction, self-composed, optimism and self-belief were selected for construction of the scale. The final draft of scale consisted of 32 items. The reliability of the scale was calculated by split-half method and test-retest method. The scale had face validity, content validity as well as higher intrinsic validity. | | Keywords : | | |
