Krishna Koyna lift irrigation project ambitious major public lift irrigation project launched by the Govt. of Maharashtra to minimize the impact of drought condition Takari lift irrigation scheme is one of the parts of it. The construction of the project was started in year 1986, but it has taken Very big schedule to completion due to inadequate provision of the funds.
