In this work, an attempt has been made to explore the possibility of using 2,2'-dipyridyl disulphide (DPDS) complex as an inhibitor on mild steel in 0.2 M HNO3. The inhibition efficiency of DPDS complex has been evaluated by conventional weight loss method and thermodynamic parameter studies. Experimental results are fitted to various adsorption isotherms. The result reveal that DPDS acts as an effective inhibitor around 90% of I.E. in HNO3 media. | Keywords : | | |
