People spend about 80 percent time in the indoor environment (house, office and vehicles), which is very much sufficient to effect the people's health condition. In urban areas most of the households are suffering from the bad condition of indoor-environmental quality that effect health of human being of varying income group. A calm and tranquil home environment is conducive to the healthier life. Quality of their lives depends on clean, decent, safe home environment in which people live and raise family. The present study aims at finding the quality of indoor environmental condition across the households of different income and socio-religious group in Kolkata Municipal Corporation. In the present study an attempt has been made to analyze the relationship between indoor environmental condition and associated human health. | Keywords : | | |
