We have a long history and experience in implementing wage employment programmes. Beginning with Jawahar Rozgar Yojna in 1989, the outreach of these programme increased in the period 1989 to 2001 ultimately culminating in Mahatma Gandhi National Rural employment Guarantee Programme.
