These sites report Pre-Harappan to Late Harappan cultural sequence. Most of the Pre-Harappan and Early Harappan settlements are found in middle and lower Drisdvati valley and few of the settlements in middle Sarasvati valley. These excavations reveal the urban phase of Harappan civilization and Late Harappan cultural elements are also reported in this region. Excavation at Madina in Rohtak district of Haryana exposed the coexistence of Late Harappan and PGW culture. | | Keywords : | | |
