Today, cooperative sector has occupied a pivotal role in the socioeconomic development, especially in rural Nepal. It was expected that Cooperatives in Nepal has played a vital role in the capacity building of the members. Cooperatives by the nature are guided by the principle ' Education, Information and Training' so, it is assumed that cooperatives are significant in the capacity building of the members. Cooperatives are community based legal entities that are run by members for their socio-economic betterment in their own initiatives in joint efforts. This study aims to analyze the role of cooperatives in capacity building of the members through the case study of Tanahun district of Nepal. Analysis and findings of this study mainly tries to unveil the role of cooperatives on capacity building of the members. | Keywords : | | |
