The slum population has been multiplied in recent years due to : -Availability of the employment opportunities in the big towns and cities. -Availability of the means of livelihood in the urban areas against the rural areas. This implies that the rural poverty gets transferred to the urban areas. The rural people are attracted to the urban areas for the economic reasons exclusively irrespective of the nonavailability of the physical infrastructures. They struggle to find housing facility.
