The sample consists of a total number of 150 higher secondary school children in Thiruvananthapuram district, Kerala State. The data were collected using the tool SCARED (Screen for child anxiety related disorders). The techniques used for the statistical analysis were t-test and anova. The result indicates that there were significant gender difference of anxiety related disorders among the higher secondary school children, but there were no significant difference based on the locale and the occupation of their parents. | | Keywords : | | |
