Sex ratio is one of the significant demographic development indices, which can determine the status of women in a region or country. The present paper intends to examine the spatial patterns of sex ratio in Sangli district. It is based on the secondary source of data mainly collected from the Census of India district handbooks and socio-economic abstract, 2001 and 2011.
