Comparatively, working wives have more status in family and society as proved by many of the studies. As such, the present study was made to know about the status of working wives and housewives in Gulbarga city and Gulbarga city is located in Karnataka. Totally 400 respondents including 200 working wives and 200 housewives was made using interview schedule.
