The present study focuses on individual level changes affected by the modifications that are taking place in the family under rapid on-going socio-cultural changes in contemporary Indian society. A sample was taken from the Allahabad City. Total 360 participants from Gulbarga City (240 parents and 120 children) were included in this study. The age of the parents was ranging 35-45 years with mean age of (44.62) and minimum graduation level of education and children of age group from 15-17 years. The results show the family structure does not effect on parents and children social value in the family. There is no significant differences were found between parents and children social value in joint families. | Keywords : | | |
