In addition to the union and state governments and their administrations, there are several non-government organisations which are working in various parts of the country for protection of human rights. Considering the gravity of the cases of human rights violation and their redressal, human rights commissions have been established at both central and state-level. And with media getting more sensitive towards the human rights’ violation incidents, the cases of such natures have started coming to the limelight as a result of which the victims get the justice most of the time.
