| Present paper throws light on the trends of urban population growth in Dhule district. Urban population growth is vital important to understanding its dynamics as well as for the urban planning. As per the 2011 census total population of the district is 2048781. The decadal urban population growth during last 60 population years is considered for the present study. The study clearly indicates that there is decreasing trend in urban population growth from 1981. |
