Tera is a picturesque village. It consists of people living in conservative communities. The village is economically stable and the villagers seem to be adequately provided for. However, despite the declaration of the status of Heritage Village, the village fails to attract much attention it deserves. Financial inclusion is not complete and we did not see any functioning bank branch in the village. Tera, like many other villages and towns in Kutch, seems to portray a heritage far forgotten and abandoned in the wake of modernization.
