| Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was a great crusader for the right of the downtrodden and weaker sections of Indian society. By his speeches and writings and organized social activities and movements he tried to create self-respect among lower castes and the untouchables so that they could fight for social justice and be able to undo the indignities heaped on them for the past many centuries.
