In the present study, Descriptive survey method is adopted. For this study, 50 B.Ed students were randomly selected from the Chennai District. The Emotional Maturity Questionnaire (EMQ) developed by Dr. Yashvir Singh which a self is rating questionnaire used for this study. The weightage of 5,4,3,2 and 1 are given for the categories “Very much”, ”Much”, ”Undecided”, ”Probably” and “Never” respectively. The net score of an individual with respect to emotional maturity is the sum of all scores.
