He has left behind him the four great tragedies. Hamlet is one of the four great tragedies of Shakespeare. Shakespeare seems to believe that evil exists evil that is in perpetual conflict with good. As Bradley points out a Shakespearean tragedy was tale of suffering and death of an exceptional individual having exceptional qualities and a high place in the society. There is a tragic relationship between the hero or any other character and his/her environment. Fate or destiny places the characters in those situation with which they are incapable of dealing. It would be no wrong to say that hamlet is a play having so many death characters including hamlet himself. The other character died without any mistakes but Shakespearehandle the scheme of tragic value.
