It’s vital role in the country is pragmatic and is very much required to poverty alleviation in developing countries like India. According to the Banking Ombudsman of Karnataka State, 63 percent of the people in India do not have the benefit of banking facilities (Business Line 2006). The rural and semi urban villages are not having ideas regarding the financial support from financial institutions or banking services. Rural people are not having awareness about the financial services offered by financial institutions.
