| Abstract : | |
| The present paper based on secondary source ofdata mainly collected from the Kolhapur Municipal Corporation and Environmental Status Reports, looks into the waste management and its disposal in Kolhapur city in 2013-14. It is found that near about 175 tons solid waste is being generated daily in the city. The highest quantity is generated from the residential area (60 tons) and closely followed by vegetable markets (28 tons). |
